Aldona Flanigan Carney

Hello, to all my fellow St. Marys of the Plains grads. I hope all is well. Pat and I have been married for 26 years and have been blessed with 5 children. Our youngest son Neil was diagnosed with Autism around 3 years of age. I have become an advocate for people with special needs and devote a lot of time and energy to fight the good fight. After I graduated from St. Marys I took a teaching job at St. Francis of Assisi grade school teaching junior high science and religion. We started having kids right away so I stayed home with the kids and taught P.E. on and off at various parochial schools in Wichita. Currently, I substitute in the parochial gradeschools in Wichita. I coached volleyball for 17 years, highschool, gradeschool and club V-ball. God Bless!!!

So many stories to tell and a lot of wonderful friends. We solved all of our problems at Duffy's and always had a lot of fun doing it. I remember Leslie and I running our favorite routes around Dodge through rain and snow.
