I graduated in 1988. I started working at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, Kansas. I meet my husband there and we were married on June 15, 1991. We moved to Hays, Kansas in April of 1990, where I started working in the operating room at Hays Medical Center and is still working there. I enjoy my job. Thanks to Mrs. Steiner she helped me realized that O.R. nursing was my passion. We have 1 son, Garrett who was born on October 25, 1993 at 27 weeks. He weighed 2lbs. 5 oz. He is now a growing young man who is giving his parents lots of gray hair. I have 3 stepchildren, Justin, Jared and Kendra who have given us 5 wonderful grandchildren, Emma, Jaxson, Easton, Aleigh and Bryson.
