This is a great idea, I've missed not having an opportunity to come back for a reunion. Last time back to Dodge City was 1973 for homecoming, I was just out of the Army and back from Vietnam.

I have lived in Ga., Washington D.C.; Detroit and Chicago for my career in Investigations.. planning to retire in about a year... going to work in Germany for 6 weeks beginning in Oct. moved to Raleigh NC after my retirement from government in Sept. 2012.

I have a lot of them...I forget that for four years of my life almost everyone in school called me "Tex" and it was hard getting back hearing my given name in the service and the rest of my life. What was really strange was that I grew up in Kansas City and attended De La Salle an intericity school, and I wasn't remotely a cowboy...several of the guys from Jersey and New York : Ron Byno, Tom Kelly, Charlie Straussberg, Ed Kane and Frank Nigro, started calling me that because I had bought a pair of cowboy boots the first week I lived there. I never dreamed the name Tex would stick. It only got confusing, my senior year when the freshmen had there own Tex, who was actually from Texas...
