Hey Butch and Margie, How's life treating you guys?? Did you have much snow this past Winter? We had ONE snow way back in November. We were drier than beef jerky. However in the past few weeks we are soggy. Old DCity has broken moisture records. Ought to have a bumper wheat crop but the market not worth a hoot.
Good to see that Smitty has picked up his trumpet again. I wish I could pick up my guitar and play it with ease but post surgery and neuropathy make fingering rather difficult. It kills me a couple of years ago I had a new pick guard and strings put on the old Martin. Sounds better than it did in college.
We had a massive 3 car garage/shop/storage built with the final touches done today. Our son Jacob wired it in 2 sessions finishing it up on Easter. Then he and his brother, Daniel, moved in the REAL BIG stuff. To think what they can do I once was able to do. Oh, Father Time, what you do to all of us. We continue to move "stuff" and boy does it kill me.
May you and your bride have a wonderful spring. Take care roomy and Margie, the apartment that you lived in ICT is still there.
Super and Ellen
I forgot to ask. . . . .are you still living on Long Island?

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Butch!! I remembered sometime in the 4 o'clock hour this morning that I had missed your birthday. Shame on me. Guess I need a flogging.
Sure hope you guys had a Merry Christmas. It was spring like here. Like it was in the 50's and 60's. 1 tornado reported in Rush County. Weird.
3 of our sons came out for a meal of smoked ham cooked in Ellen's Traeger. It was only the 2nd time she's used it after winning it at the farmers COOP Annual meeting in May. We had a good time and were entertained with Noah's 2 labs and Daniel's mutt.
Have a good winter and easy with the shoveling. Make sure he behaves himself Marge. Give each other a hug and also have a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!!
Peace/Love you guys,
Super and Ellen
Hey Hank. . . . . .Have a great birthday, and many more! I guess we're both gearing up for another NE winter, even though the last one wasn't too bad.
Enjoy the day!
Happy Birthday Rosemary! Margie tried to send you a birthday message from her tablet earlier this morning, but we're not sure if it posted, so here's another one from both of us. Hope you have a wonderful day, and many more to come.

P.S. Have any snow yet?
Hey Butch & Marge, Thanks for my bday greetings. I have trouble getting on the site once in a while. Fall arrived today after yesterday in the 90's here but 101º in old DC. Kinda toasty!!
Having a rough day today but after a few hours I'm rallying. Hate it when I get like this. Sure isn't like when we were 18 or 19 or so.
From the science front here 3 blocks away: a LOVES/SUBWAY truck/car stop is being built. A few months ago they found a mastadon tusk/tooth,camel and horse teeth .The tusk is about 100K old. To think what use to walk around this neighborhood!!
Just finished videoing/photographing a show at PCC. At the moment Ellen is editing another show. This stuff keeps us busy if you don't count us preparing to build a garage.
A couple of months ago a branch a good 20-25' long fell out of a tree in the south yard. It missed the van but a foot long chunk speared Ellen's Volvo breaking the windshield. However, the guy from the electric company said there are bees. We never knew they were there. Ellen called a local keeper. Ellen got chunks of the hive and was able to filter out a jar of honey and he got the bees!! Yummy!!
Do take care of yourselves and happy snow shoveling. Chances are that you'll get the white stuff before us.

Hey Butch and Marge, We drove all 3K+ miles in July to celebrate my 50th class reunion. The last 1 I went to was 25 years ago. My how some people change more than others. Sure hope your trip was a good one. Sorry we couldn't get together.
Stay healthy as you can. I/we are getting along pretty good even after driving 3K+ miles to the east coast and back. I have slept a bunch upon returning to KS.
Super and Ellen

The SMOP site has given me a hard time and just couldn't get on. Ellen worked it over today and, well, as you can tell I'm on. Other than that things seem to be ok just the usual aches/pains. I'll do something somewhat intensive 1 day then I'm wiped out the next.
The Iowa caucuses had been of great interest to me because I had been intensely looking for Tormey. Lo and behold the day of the caucus on lower right hand side of the tv screen was Tormey sitting a few feet away from Matt Lauer on the TODAY show. I immediately called Dan Moore and told him to turn on Today. He was in many shots. I took pics then that evening I called Jerry. We had some good laughs.
Sure glad Munoz is recovering. He sent us a belated Xmas card apologizing. I guess his mishap was a good enough excuse. lol He has earned a Superman cape!!
We have had an almost snowless winter except many months ago there was enough to almost cover the leaves on the lawn. That's all I need to do is push snow around.
Sure hope all is well with you guys. Think about you often. There's a good chance we'll be driving east to NY/NJ in July for my 50th class reunion. Hard to believe it was also 50 years since we all met in DC. Yikes!!
Take care of yourselves.

Almost 4 months since you flew over that car hood. . . .How is the recovery going? Hope you are up and about and mending well. Margie and I are doing fine and send our best wishes. Let us know how you are doing.
P.S. Next time you get the urge to fly, let me know, and I will buy you a Superman cape!
(Seriously, hope you are doing OK)
