It has been 2 years since I've updated my bio. One more grandkid showed up, a girl, Madeleine. She turned 1 on 11/13/11. She has learned how to walk! 4 grandkids: MACKAILLYN, 12; MAGDELAN, 5; JULIAN, 2; MADELEINE, 1.

Our daughter, Sarah and her husband, Tom, live in Wichita with the 4 kids above.

3 of our boys, Benjamin, Jacob, and Daniel, live and work in Wichita. All are successful in the computer and retail world. They are nice to have relatively close to us.

The 4th boy, Noah, spent 2 years dancing with Ballet San Antonio but has had to drop out of the business and has plans on using his biology background in order to get into medicine.

As for mom and pop we keep ourselves busy working in theatre, photography, video projects, audio recordings, volunteer work, etc. My wife, Ellen, is the manager for Meals on Wheels/Friendship Meals in Cunningham.

We've been married for 38 years. Met her at Sacred Heart College during the '70-'71 school year. I finished up my 5th year of el. ed. at the Heart.

It has been good hearing from Tony, J. Marshall, Doc, Smitty, Steve, Hank- all are doing just great.

Looking forward to the BIG 2012 reunion in July.

Hey Smitty, How the hell are you. We got thru winter and are pounding away at springtime. Next month we'll get the post/floor/steps of our front porch get a do over. On top of that we bought the lot next door back in OCT. Come May we'll be building a garage/storage/shop on the lot. With all of the land we have it takes 3 hrs,+ to cut it all even on a big 54" JD riding mower.

Between this SUN and June]I have a few more videos to do then I can rest for a couple of months.

Health wise we're doing OK. Sure hope that you are healthy and if you are stay that way. That's an order, hahaha

Take care and prep yourself for the BIG 7-0!!
Love/Peace,
Super & Ellen

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARGE!! The BIG 7-0!! Those teenage years seem like yesterday, right. May this day be a great one. Please give Butch a big hug as I hope he gives you a hug.

Stay healthy and keep on laughing.

I need to run in order to prep my recording equipment for a high school spring concert put on by our friend/retiring music teacher. The world must have music.

Hey Butch, If you guys ever come back this way you will be able as of this day to buy real beer at any store. No kidding even though it's April Fools Day!! KS is finally in the 21st century!!

It's not like the old days when beer was part of the daily diet-COORS. Now on St. Pat's Day we each have a GUINNESS!! How times have changed. Got to keep my sexy figure. Ha!!

Gotta run off to Pratt to PCC for Ellen and #1 grand Mackaillyn's choir rehearsal and visit to WM to pick up meds. Just to think back in the day an aspirin was all it took.

Take care kids. Give each other a hug.

Peace/Love'

Chris, we were so glad to meet you at the Kingman County Courthouse on October 12 last year at the Sheriff sale. Glad Ellen was wearing her hat with the SMPC pin on it.

Today we found out you had a birthday last month on tomorrows date. We also found out you are 1 month less than 10 years younger than Ellen. Although Dave is the SMPC alumnus, Ellen has been to enough reunions that she feels she is an alum by proxy.

We are planning on putting a storage garage/shed on the property bought that day. We have already talked with the contractor about an early spring build.

So, a belated Happy Birthday, and hope to see you again.

Elizabeth, Sorry we missed the reunion, but my Class was celebrating it's 50 year reunion since High School that night, so I told Dave that is where we needed to go. It was fun connecting with the people I went to High School with so next time we will go to Dave's reunion. Glad you had a good time. Hope your Birthday on the 12th it all you hope it will be. Birthdays are always fun if you don't think about getting older but think about getting better. Happy Birthday! David (Super) and Ellen

HAPPIEST OF HAPPY BIRTHDAYS, TONY!!! Sure hope this day is SUPER (hmmm??) for such a great guy. We had a fantastic time last year and even got to be in a decent snow!! That was the only decent snow we were "lucky" to be in.

I'm all healed up from my surgery for cancer in my back. The doctor released me last month from his care. Thank heavens for Ellen's nursing skills daily changing my dressings 1 or 2 times a day. The horrible pain is gone gone gone!!

More days are better. A couple of nights ago was hell but those times are less frequent. YAY!!

I lost a very dear high school friend to cancer a month or so ago. He lived in Albany,NY. Fortunately we were able to see him in July at an extra special class reunion, 1 of his sons called me as we were very slowly driving through our neighborhood passing the word of his Dad's death. Sure makes you think about the Grim Reaper. I got very emotional when Hank told me of John Spinelli's death.

Well, enough sad stuff and let's celebrate your birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Stay healthy.

Love/Peace,
Super & Ellen

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CONNIE!! Sure hope you aged just right for another year!! HAHA!! We should've scanned in a bunch more pics for you. I have 100's!! You did recall the B/W pic with the fly?? Buzz!!

We finally got some snow. It has been cold and nasty lately. That pic of Tony/me was taken by Ellen Jan. 14, 2018 in Parsons on a Sun. morning after a 3-4" snowfall. That was the only snow we saw last winter. Bone dry here. Ellen fired 2 frames and they were good. Every so often we have lunch with Dan Moore at Lees on the west side of ICT. Last time was 10/4/18 on a warmer day than today.

I had surgery on my back to remove squamous cell cancer through a 10" incision. The incision has just about healed. I'm doing pretty good now. The cancer is all gone.

For someone who has had a pretty good heath record, the last 5 years certainly has not been the greatest. Lost 3 toes on my left foot (thanks diabetes 2), 3.5 years ago 6 bypasses then this. Enough is enough.

Got hold of Lew Cisto via the SMOP site, He sent a reply today/ He and Bobbi live in TN and have been married 49 years. A little longer than you guys or us. He sounds like the music biz (teaching) as been a good profession.

Gotta run. In my case more like a very slow motion. Ellen has to change my dressing and wash my back. For some reason I'm unable to reach the area.

So night night. Take care old gal. Don't hit me.

Huggies,
Super

Hi, Dave and Ellen, missed seeing you at the SMOP Reunion this summer. I'm still learning how to use this e-mail system. Sorry to hear Dave was so sick; hope he is better. Stay strong, Ellen. It did not seem right when both of you and Tony were all absent from the reunion. I hope we can all see each other at the next reunion.

HEY TONY, 10/3/18
I'm still kicking. Had a rough spring/summer/beginning of fall with my health. What was thought of as a cyst on my back turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma. As the summer marched on we went to NY for a class reunion part 2. All went well until FR night when Ellen was cleaning out the "cyst". It started to bleed and wouldn't stop.

there was blood all over the bathroom. She called the desk and in came 2 EMTs & 2 cops then shortly 2 ambulance people showed up and I got my 1st ride in an ambulance to the hospital a few blocks away. (Good Samaritan Hospital) She followed, checked me into the ER then stayed with me through a sleepless night as the doctor plugged the leak.

To make the story a tad shorter we started our return to KS the next days after celebrating the reunion. My skin doc decided to turn me over to a surgeon who after two sessions determined that I had a cancer. After wacking out a 10" incision he removed the cancer. That very day the excruciating pain went away. Now just the healing continues and I'm doing much better. Sure glad that I have a Super wife to tend to my daily maintenance.

Sure hope you remain healthy. It ain't easy at our age!!
Love/peace,
Super & Ellen

Hi Hank, Next TH some of the stitches will be removed from the 10" incision. It's now air drying and I can move about normally. No more stabbing pains. Sure happy about that. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night screaming at the top of my lungs.

Anyway "Life goes on, oblah dee oh blah dah!" (sp??)

Stay warm winter is closing in. Peace, Super

Last week I had surgery for squamous cell carcinoma cancer in my upper back. I'm wearing a wound vac that sucks out the nasties. I'm having problems with it. Presently, the damn thing is leaking and the foot long dressing covering the 8" incision stinks. I have an appointment TU. That in a nut shell is my health.. Still kickin'. Super
