I have had a varied life in the locations we have lived and in occupations. After graduation I worked as a home ec teacher for a year in Minneola, KS. My husband and I had know each other since 4th grade. We married in 1965. He began his career as a college professor and later went into college administration. He worked at six colleges and we lived in five states. I got an accounting degree in the 80's and worked in that field for a few years. Later I worked in a college bookstore and then a college library.
We retired to Shawnee, KS in 2008. Our children and four gradchildren live in this area. I am involved in some volunteer work and bible study. We play bridge at community centers and with new friends we found in bridge classes. I would enjoy hearing from former alums.
